Hattie isn’t your average cougar because she isn’t all about sex. In 1996, she coined the term “RetroAge†to introduce a new paradigm of aging to the world. Co-writing with best-selling author, Sallie Batson, she wrote three books: RetroAge: The Four Step Program To Reverse The Aging Process (Berkley Books, 1997), The Complete Idiot’s Guide To Looking and Feeling Younger, (Alpha Books, 2000), and Exquisite Aging (Self-published, 2008).
Within these post Hattie will offer a whole new Hattietude on life, and one she lives by everyday is “your first youth is a gift from Nature, your life-long youth is a gift to yourself.â€
In addition to holistic work, Hattie is the oldest person to ever appear topless on the Howard Stern Show. Also, at 72, she was featured in a Dolce & Gabbana publicity campaign for VOGUE, W, Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar… in a skin-tight swimsuit! And in 2009, she released her memoir Sex and The Single Senior: A Cougar’s Search for Love.
