Hattie isn’t your average Sexy Older Beauty/Cougar because she isn’t all about sex. In 1996, she coined the term RetroAge to introduce a new paradigm of aging to the world. Co-writing with best-selling author, Sallie Batson, she wrote four life-transforming books: RetroAge: The Four Step Program To Reverse The Aging Process (Berkley Books, 1997); The Complete Idiot’s Guide To Looking and Feeling Younger, (Alpha Books, 2000), Exquisite Aging (Self-published, 2008). Her memoir, Sex and the Single Senior: A Cougar’s Search for Love (self-published, 2010) has established Hattie an international role model of sexual desirability regardless of age.

In addition to her writing, lectures and Holisitc Life Coaching practice, at 72, she modelled for a Dolce & Gabbana publicity campaign for VOGUE, W, Vanity Fair and Harpers in a skin-tight gold swimsuit. In 2009, she starred in TLC’s Strange Sex:Cougars and Cubs, which airs throughout the world, and most recently, in 2012, she appeared in the TLC special, Extreme Cougar Wives.

I’m not sure exactly what I’m supposed to be commenting on but……… I am a recently separated 54 y/o man (who takes pretty good care of himself, therefore I’d like to think I look and feel much younger than most my age)who isn’t getting looked at the same way by the opposite sex as I did 20 years ago before getting married. I’m a 34 year old female and you are what I want to be when I am 74. I’m gonna buy your book and send it to my grandmother who is beautiful beyond words, and recently divorced at the age of 70. She tells me she thinks she is ready to die and all I see when I look at her is endless potential. Long rid of her children, and finally rid of a physically abusive man, she sits along reliving the pain of her life. I wonder if I could get her to read your book, if she could find a way to turn her head from the past towards the future. We ALL are heading for the same dirt nap, so why dwell on it? Why not live, live, and live as if we would never die. Why spend years preparing for what happens in one moment? Oh well, I’m rambling on but wanted to tell you that you are doing good work and people NEED your type of help!
